I accidentally came across the old news about proposed WUG and it seems that SportAccord unofficially count also orienteering. What I have read so far it looks to be a very similar concept as World Games but more focused on youth athletes.
"Other sports such as parkour, climbing, orienteering and air sports will make an appearance at the Games as SportAccord looks to appeal to a younger generation of athlete"
"However, each has been adapted to fit with the young, modern and urban culture of this new sporting competition" and first games "expected to take place in 2016 following the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro"
