Can you tell us which age group classes are on the split Green and Brown courses? It's not specified on the website and the US rules give clubs flexibility in assigning X's and Y's.

We are only using one variant for green and brown. The number of registrants was low enough that the 60 available starts are adequate. Using only one course maximizes the number of finishers and hence comparisons of splits. While there will be many people running the same course in the chase start, that's sort of the point.

Day 2 Start Times are posted:

The chase start format is very exciting. Word of warning: if you miss your start, you will be inserted into the start list at the discretion of the start crew, but you will miss all the excitement and raw intensity of the chase experience! Don't miss your start.

Parking and arena are at the same location, and the start is closer than Day 1. We suggest budgeting 30 minutes to walk from the parking to the start.

NEOC's website is messed. If viewing on a mobile device it doesn't side scroll. Try viewing in landscape mode, I was able to catch part of it. But I have a big screen.

Many thanks! Jon figured out that it's viewable if you put it in print preview mode. Didn't work on either our Android or iOS devices when viewing the regular page, though.

I pressed some button on my regular phone last night, and it started working. Not being a phone expert, though, I have no idea what I did. Might have been something equivalent to "view full screen".

I had the same problem trying to view the Sun startlist on my Android phone -- and told the webmaster about it yesterday.

A workable alternative/back-up would have been to upload the start times to EventReg...

The NEOC pages default to mobile view for mobile devices, but you can choose "desktop" mode using the icon in the dark blue bar near the top of the page that looks like a tabletop monitor (the alternate view is a phone icon). That also puts the menu items in a sidebar rather than at the bottom of the page (or as a popup menu visible when clicking on the Menu link).

On my Android smartphone, the start times, while not visible in portrait view, are *just* visible in landscape view (available in settings under "screen rotation"), and easily visible in desktop mode.

We are sorry there were difficulties for people observing the Day 2 start times on the website; we didn't test the access from mobile devices. Start times can be uploaded from EventReg, but it requires somewhat tedious csv formatting. XML import would be very useful, and Ed has discussed implementing it in the future.

The simplest workaround would probably have been to upload a pdf to the website.

@Ian: I have no idea how to deal with XML, but find csv straightforward (just a "save-as" in Excel ). That said, a downloadable PDF would have been easiest, and independent of device.
