Flying after a hard ultra-event is very hard on the system (everyone's pathogens circulating in the air, your body trying to recover from the shock to the system). I also have asthma, which makes me susceptible to bronchitis when my immune system is down. You'll be on the road to recovery faster - even by just getting a prescription-grade cough suppressant (helps prevent you from hacking all night and not sleeping). |
