Charlie: How much rest do you take between these? Walking, jogging?

PBricker: It depends. In the old days, I always jogged the rest intervals which were usually 400 meters, sometimes 200. But the group I'm running with just stands around waiting for the next interval, so that's what I've been doing. Also, the amount of time varies drastically. The Cheetahs do longer intervals in the same time block as the mini-Cheetahs. I'm betwixt and between, sometimes running with the fast group sometimes the slower group. (There's also now an even slower micro-Cheetahs group.) The time blocks are designed to give the Cheetahs rests ranging from about 45 seconds (after a 400) to 1:45 (after a 1600). But this week I did the mini-Cheetah workout which gave me rests of over 3 minutes after all except the 400, which had a 45 second rest. I shouldn't be doing this at all! My hip is sore today. Really discouraging because I like (trying to) run fast.
