You looked around half the age of most of the delegates... And sadly, I recognise many of the same faces from around 10 years ago, the younger ones didn't last.
Tash was half his age again (almost)!
Craig Steffen(s) isn't that old either.
Was funny whenever they talked about 'young people' certain people would stare at the new young people in the room. I'm traumatized.
You could have just said "I entered a raffle, won a holiday and now here I am!"
Not much of a holiday. Took ages to find the ice cream.
Could only be improved with a dentists visit...
No. I was more satisfied with my visit to the dentist a fortnight ago to get a filling. At least that achieved something useful.
What is this, dental awareness month?
I think I'd been going to OA conferences for at least a decade before the first one where I wasn't the youngest person there. We did have quite a young Board a few years ago - in fact there were times when the Board could have fielded a respectably good men's NOL team (various combinations of Andy Hogg, Ben Rattray, Eric Morris, Grant Bluett and myself).
Hope it wasn't too discouraging - it was a thinner (and less controversial) agenda than usual this year, mainly because there are still a lot of unknowns on the Sports Commission front. You also escaped from two days of having to put up with my wit and wisdom...
That must be the real reason we finished early :)
(Also, I'd just like to point out that Craig Feuerherdt and I are still under 40.)
