ebone: I hope all your raw and swollen parts return to normal soon. I'll probably see you in late August or early September, after I return from World Orienteering Champs. Do you want to race Challenge the Port on September 8?

Flying Scotsman: Not sure yet Eric as I'm doing Roger's 24hr if I can rustle up a team and I want to do a Mtn climb (or the enchantments) the w/e before so for now I'll have to make that a no.

Thanks for the good luck and well done winning yesterday!

Flying Scotsman: Glenn, have you got the race stats for entry into the log, I just guestimated at them. I also wanted a map, did you or Matt pick one up for me?

Rest those legs big guy and get that poison oak gone, that was possibly the closest I came to giving up (and throwing up!) during the whole race!

neomaxizoomdweeb: what ??? you were going to give up when you saw that nasty rash in my crotch. how do you think i kept going? The more my feet/legs hurt, the less i noticed my crotch.

DARTvg: Well done guys- did he say the rash in his crotch? ...is there a new strain of monkey but out there that needs an antidote. Forget Chimera...watch out for the Montana Monkey Butt.

neomaxizoomdweeb: no not montana monkey butt...tried oakridge poison oak that keeps giving in bad places

OnYourLeft: well done boys! awesome effort... too bad you lost your girl. sounds like timberland made an early mistake but had you guys the whole way.?!!?

neomaxizoomdweeb: Not sure that they had us the wholr way. We were just as fit, maybe better at the end and they kept making nav errors. Our only error cost us 2 hours on a map error that took us a while to figure out.

Flying Scotsman: I agree Glenn, once we put race pace down we left them in the dust and Matt / you also nav'd better too. They had a litter of small and not so small mistakes on a course that was not too navigationally challenging. If we were a 4 person team I think they would have beaten us though.
