Is there any additional info on the Sprint Camp available yet?

acjospe:
No, one day was a bit too soon relative to the phrase "coming soon".

Preliminary info:
June 11-14
Morning trainings.
Afternoon e-punched sprints.
Culminates in a prologue/chase sprint qual/final, which may or may not be an A meet.
All venues will be accessible by public transit.
Limited to 60 entrants, so we'll be loud when we open registration.

My understanding is that the next junior training camp will include at least part of the Sprint Camp, so about 10 of those spots would be taken by the JWOC Team.

All those years of training to be the first to sign up for Vancouver Sprint Camp may pay off here...

Great! They'll have to sign up like everyone else.

I am curious if the 60 person limit is absolute or +/- and also what's driving it. Permits??

The 60 person limit is to keep everything small, fun, and easy for us to organize. We are also planning a really fun format for the last day where 60 people allow us to keep start lists short and compact. We are not targeting this to be a huge event the first year, but an event that is sustainable for us to put on, and fun for everyone involved.

Vancouver would agree with that. I do, too.

Hooray for sprint camps!

If you make every second person run the course backwards, you could double the start list whilst retaining the one hour start window.

Who was it from the Canadian team that Eric Bone went "head to head" with in the WOC sprint qualifier a few years ago?

Mike Smith. The result? Canada 1 - USA 0
