I am wandering how it is classed as beating Craig on a different course!
The first thing I did when I finished was check to see what time Graham did. I was disappointed. I think I could have come close if I pushed hard but it would have been tough.
I think this is what GB calls playing with the Big Boys
That's what I call beating Craig ;) He understands.
I know that he is only happy if he has the fastest H course time across as many courses as possible.
I plan to attempt to beat Craig at least once this year, in something other than a sprint. This will work better if he doesn't turn up to an event.
Do an H3 when he does an H1.
Ruben and I beat Craig on VE. Hurray!
Sten, someone doesn't seem to like Ruben. His result isn't in the list again!
He's in the
Eventor results as a DNF on the VE. I assume that was his second course for the day, from the "Ruben2"...?
It was actually his third course of the day, because he had already done the string course twice.
There was a problem with downloading the results, because we used my SI stick that I had already used on H1. When we went to download the VE course, it apparently nearly overwrote my H1 result.
Did he win the string course?
More to the point, did he finish the VE? He's in the results file (as a DNF), but not the splits, and I've been told repeatedly how important it is for kids to have proper results even if they're too young to read them.
Rosalie finished third on her course without getting any splits.
Not to mention Ed Finnie taking 56 minutes to reach the first control and somehow finishing 5th without getting any more? :)
Don't know where you're getting those splits from but I can't see them. Maybe he followed someone and OE refused to accept it.
Actually we mispunched, so I guess we didn't really beat Craig after all. Something to strive for next time.
