This was easily your best leg compared to the others. Why? Was it because you were fresh, did something well, or what do you put it down to?

I was wondering what you were talking about with the previous thread but then I don't know why AP considers I made an 'error' there (and 33 seconds at that). I thought I executed that leg quite well.

Bryce, you put a rogaining control on a rock??? Isn't that against XYZ's Rules of Rogaining?

it was down hill and a very easy leg and I wanted to go out a bit harder so I did - certainly freshness helped as it wasnt until control 3 that my left shin started giving em real grief.

Sorry ricky not really following any of your comments above! also i am sure XYZ had plenty to say about our control setting.

Tooms' post originally referred to your first leg on day 1, where you said it was one of your rogaine control locations (which happened to be a 1m boulder).

Ah - yeah it was on that watercourse junction and pretty much a few m from that boulder

Ahh, so it was in sight of the centre of the circle, not actually in the middle of it.

Well if someone was using the orienteering map then yes. :) none of our rogaine controls where misplaced

I cannot comment on that :P
