| msm: | Your log is freaky with all that red. You will have to buy new shoes every week at the rate you are going. :-) |

| OnYourLeft: | the funny thing is 73 mile weeks aren't going to cut it for plain!! that course gobbles people up!
actually with the amount of weight on your back it's probably the same amount of pounding as a 140 mile week. keep up the good work roger. glenn better start running and stop winning adv races! |

| roschi: | yep I feel like my 70+ miles a week with a heavy pack was about the most my body can take... plus i tend to do well at lower milages... last year i finished CCC100 in 14th place having run an average of 30-35 miles a week... the thing is that the biking really helps keep the endurance up and the inflammation of joints down... so i feel like i should be good to go... i m going to not get freaked out by the massive list of top runners (bev abbs, louis escobar, david goggins, tim stroh) that are taking part in this race, and just run my own race, hopefully glen will take it easy too on the first 57mile loop and we can run together... i felt like i was going well at the hurt100, minus the sprained ankle and i m all good... |

| Gimpy: | I am back and well rested. time to start running...or do I ean tapering? Time is running out. Ya I will definitely run easy. clearly my running volume has been way down and this is not going to be my best effort. I wish i could have been running like Hart but other priorities take there place. I plan to be running hard the next couple of weeks and then take a week off and hope for the best. |

| roschi: | some of my best races have been after sub-par preparations.. you expect little, not always bad.. lets take it real easy on the 1st loop when racing, always time to reel em in... that s what those long races are for after all.. give slobos like me a little chance.. |
