Discussion: New functionality in SI firmware

Apologies if this has already been posted. I've just got around to reading the SPORTident newsletter.

It looks as though the latest firmware upgrades to BSF7,BSF8 give a few nice features (assuming I'm reading it correctly):
- Start unit that will do a start beep
- SI Master that will behave like time master - set time and (optionally) clear
- Support for both Air+ and regular SI at same BSF7/BSF8 units (use with care:) )

I don't know about that last one but the first two are true. We used the beeping start clock at one of our local evets recently. It confused people...
