Hi Graeme,

Is there a high-resolution old map file of Glen Affric available on the internets somewhere (with or without WOC '99 courses)?

Thanks!

The O-map of Affric is generally known as Plodda. While you're map geeking - try figuring out which way the river flows in Darnaway ...

Thats the problem with you elites, you always find the nav technique that will work. Indulge us mortals by looking at the map and using the definition "downhill".

I thought that was getting fixed?

There was some rumour about updating the map before WOC, but I'm sworn to secrecy so I wouldn't like to comment.

there's only a problem with the (very) old Darnaway map if you believe that the river that disappears off the east edge of the map is the same river that appears 1km to the north at 15m higher elevation - it makes perfect sense if they are two different rivers :-)
Anyway it was fixed in 2011 (not that anyone noticed) and it seems reasonable to assume that any WOC-mapping won't have unfixed it ;-)
