Good effort.

Food thing is all too reminiscent of racing with Debs. Ok for 12 hours then just can not get anything down. I don't know if she ever found a solution.

I think I changed too much having listened to the advice of other people. I've raced for longer than 12 hrs with no problem before but I didn't eat pasta or fgs - turns out I think I should stick to fgs for bike/kayak or certainly later in the run. Was all I wanted on the Snowden trek in itera but that was about 12hrs into racing, not 2.5....surprisingly hi five was going down well, but this was my supporters and so only had one sachet - I have a whole box at home as I'd never found a point I could stomach it before.

Hopefully there is a solution as when fueled I think my legs have more!
