And from my memories of Uni study I researched I think it certainly works for adults (if I 'go back to sleep' I go for my usual cycle of 90minutes). Babies (and other people will be different, but adults tend to fall into 80-90 min cycles) I think have shorter (45 was my younger son's)

The range I think is 20-40 min. You can guess which end of that range missy is at!

All that crawling doesn't manage to tire her out?

She's crawling already?!

Thankfully she does usually sleep well at night. Although The last three weeks have been off because she has been sick plus child care had been giving her dairy, which makes her have awful nappies and uncomfortable tummies. She was waking up every 3 hours which was a killer..we started taking shifts. But that's all sorted now and we're back to nice 8 hr plus stretches:). And yes, crawling bang on 7 months!

8 hour stretches - bliss!

I agree! That's a bonus.
She must be a motivated mover! I bet she's loving exploring.

It is bliss. Although I often wake up, waiting for her to wake up, even if she doesn't. Highly motivated, yes:).

Wow - 8 hour stretches! Sounds like luxury. 3 hours or less is still the norm for Paddy at night, even now at 13 months! I'm a wee bit tired...

So cool that she's crawling already! It's so much fun once they're mobile. :)

I hear you, we're back to 3 hourly again. Plus being awake for an hour or more and trying to play in the night. She's pretty happy though so I guess it is just what she needs to be doing right now.how does Paddy like child care?

He doesn't love it, but I don't think many kids do when they first start - he just wants to be with Mum. But he's getting better every time, or so they tell me... He still loses his shiz every time I leave him! ;)
