Dramatic finish in the (Elite) Men's Relay between Ukraine and Lithuania. I would love to have access to the splits from the final loop to see how close the two runners were running on the final loop of the final leg, all of whose controls were the same. (Only the first loop was forked.) Two runners stampeded down the finish chute shoulder to shoulder for first place, heading toward two control stands. See David Cady's image
https://www.flickr.com/photos/davidcady/2028499841... The runner from Ukraine got a tiny bit ahead on the right of the runner in green (Lithuania), then ran to the *left* Finish punch, blocking his opponent. He slid into the control stand, missing the punch box with his dibbler, breaking the stand, and falling. The runner in green reached over to the *right* finish stand and punched at *about* the same time as the prone Ukrainian punched the box lying on the ground.
I am not certain, but I believe a tie for First Place was declared.
