kupackman: ... wow. I guess I can't complain anymore about my work schedule!

How's your AR prep coming along?

roschi: dude its killing me... not fast, like small amounts of rat poison... its more (even more) work than i though... shirts, logistics, 20+volunteers, sponsors, all the million things you need.. oh and dont get me started on the 4 permits... what happened to you? I saw you had to cancel doing the course for the national o day... too much work?
I dont work 16h/day but close to 10, and the rest is sucked up by the 24h race... but its fun seeing it all come together now.. and glen is a huuuuuuuuge help

kupackman: My plan since January was to take the existing Woodland Park map, and add the West Woodland Park and Green Lake Park maps to it, and then design a bunch of courses (including some micro-o) on these maps for National O' Day.

The mapping was going to be my summer project, and I was supposed to meet with Eric two months ago to get a crash course on OCAD so that I could spend July and August on the mapping, after work and during the weekends.

But now that I have to work 10 hour days and only have two days off a month, there was no way that I was going to get that project done. It was stressing me out just thinking about getting it done on time. Sooo... I backed out of everything and thankfully Eileen came through and took over.

Once these planes start flying, I hope to get this mapping project done. My current goal is to design/direct a four-race sprint-o tournament on this map combination... t-shirts and everything. It's just a matter of when...

I will be taking a 6-day vacation up to Alberta for some orienteering, though. I'll get to relax! I'll be driving up there with a very jet-lagged Eric on Wednesday.

I'm also hoping to take a few hours off work on Saturday mornings to run in the local meets this fall, too.
