| franklinwood: | I see you are about to do the Plain 100. Glad that you aren't being lazy.
I have decided to wake up and come back online after my travels and activity over the summer. Luckily, I have been keeping track of most of my traininngs and races during the summer, so I will post them in due time. Swedes are finally coming back home after the long summer semester. I am back in school and going ahead. I did that 100k and the 50 miler in addition to several 30km races during the summer, so my legs took a beating esp. during the 50 miler. I have some tendonitis in my left knee so I am taking a few weeks rest from running and even doing light biking. Got to keep those legs for something big in 2008. Glad you are training and racing strong. |

| roschi: | things are going well.. was wondering what happened to you... the 24h race we re organizing is taking my breath away in so many ways... crazy what the trioba brothers and shane achieved over the last few years.. i may have to do little to no racing next year if I want to keep the schedule... luckily glen s been great help and probably put in the same amount of work as i have, just on-course and not the boring permit , swag and tshirt, etc stuff...
all good, plain is coming, and i am feeling great, especially after our 50+ mile run... not bad for a training ey? |

| franklinwood: | Are you getting burned out from all the racing and organizing of races? My racemates in DC who ran Odyssey, the A List and now Primal Quest got burnt out as well. They decided to take a year off and now are coming back in 2008.
I am proud of the accomplishments that you have achieved AND what you have done for the NW race community. I hope people appreciate that. You know you are working so hard with your job, racing and organizing that you shouldn't compare yourself to other racers esp. these guys. They are making a living at it and have the time. You want to make sure you around racing for years to come. Glad that you have Glenn to help out. He knows his stuff and a super athlete. I hope you are getting help from the rest of your team. I know you want to lead the charge and handle so much, but give your teammates a chance to take charge too. Amazing that you are doing a 50m+ just as training. I know I remember when I did my first marathon and I was in such afterwards. I would never have guessed I would have been doing races longer than that. I am not finished as I am going to make 2008 big and exciting for me. I am tired of sitting on the sidelines and just doing surface racing. I am going to do something big for myself. |
