If I understand the e-mails I've seen floating around, the 33rd running of the Blue Hills Traverse is on for November 20. Mark it on your calendars! It's the oldest continuously-held orienteering event in the U.S.

Also, for you in the Boston area, come on down to Great Brook Farm this Sunday. As you can now see on the NEOC website, there will be a Green course (which I've tried NOT to have live up to its name, with some success, although Great Brook Farm does have a fair amount of thick areas).

The 8th annual Susquehanna Stumble is also scheduled for November 20 near Gettysburg, PA on one of the 2003 SVO A-meet maps (and an older map - Pine Grove Furnace). Gotta get that Stumble towel!

you guys might want to traverse/stumble your way over to the event section, and add these events there to facilitate the marking of calendars.

For those with lots of frequent flyer miles and the urge to double, I believe the Bubba Goat is at Oak Mtn, 11/19 - the day before the Traverse and Stumble. Oak Mtn was the site of the fine US Team A Meet in Alabama in January.

I think you didn't mean to use a relative link, Vlad, so try this instead (when something gets put there, at any rate).
