you run Bolsa Chica Wetlands, not far from my pad in SB.. How are the trails, what's the distance? All this rain we're suppose to get, would love to test it :)

Bolsa Chica is a classic. From Warner across to the big square, on the levee, all good. Best flat soft running spot in orange county probably. I lived in the white condos on n side of park for a cpl yrs and ran there almost daily 05-07. easy to add on some asphalt too if you want to beat up the legs a bit. down to taco surf or south onto the BCSP concrete path or onto mary course.

there used to be a huge rattlesnake den by the old bridge, before they improved the area in ~09.

Park in the lot off PCH north, or possibly where Bolsa Chica street dead ends. Plenty of attack points!

yep. I have probably ran more there than any other place (besides Quail) but for long runs and tri specific (flat) it is ideal. Soft surface, plenty of entry/exit as Clancy said and its easy to create loops to target pace, etc.

I will let you know next time I plan on running there again or we can hook up for a ride soon

Soft surface I like. Sounds good
