Cool! I only saw my honorable mention because I was creepin on your log. Whoa, not only is that creepy, but it's also sounds very inappropriate!

AP isn't as good at tagging people and notifications around comments and whatnot, is it? Or am I missing something?

Pink Socks:
because I was creepin on your log.

You're not the only one. There's a lot of log creepin, so don't worry about it. You can actually learn a lot by creepin the elites, actually.

It's not as good as Facebook. But, you have to keep in mind that AP is a social network that actually predates Facebook. AP was born in 2000.

The closest thing to a notification is the left side of the main page, where it lists your favorites. If you're caught up on your favorites, there's nobody on the list. But if people show up, then that means that they've updated since you last visited. If there's a "c" next to his/her name, that means that there's a new comment on his/her log. There's no way to tell if it's a new thread or a reply to your thread, though.

In the middle and right sections of the main page are discussions about specific events and discussions about whatever else. The new replies to the threads bump up to the top, and unread ones are slightly highlighted (at least they are on mine, but I'm a paying member).

There's a lot that you can do besides log your training obviously. But you can also upload GPS tracks, etc.

Also, because it's old school, if you want to insert photos like Rebecca did, you need to know some basic HTML code.

Oh gottcha. Ok, I'm a fan. Will try it a bit longer before I become a paying member. I don't expect AP to be quite as suave as fb in regards to social media. I see what you mean now, about the favorites being listed on the left when there's activity in their log, and you have to visit it to see what's new. Look at me I'm wicked awesome at HTML (but, yeah, don't know how to do photos. That's ok)
