Anyone got a moon boot I could borrow for a couple of weeks :-) Trying to immobilize and take the weight off my right ankle.

thanks

I've got one stashed away somewhere. I could probably drop it off on my way to work really early tomorrow assuming the moon boot is where I think it is. Or I can give it to Richard at the rogaine .... disclaimer about professional advice, blah, blah, blah.

Shane, that would be great if it is possible to drop it off rather than wait for Richard to bring it home. I have had the Physio tell me that if things don't improve it's time for the moon boot - so rather than wait!

I'll need Richard to walk around with it on the rogaine otherwise I won't be able to keep up.

Oh look, I found your address in an email from a couple of years ago. Is it save to assume it still 120 ... ?

I can just leave it next to your front door, a bit before 7am.

@tRicky I can bring some walking poles for you if you like

Yep - that sounds right. Shenton Park. On the porch is fine, you might bump into Richard as he will be heading off for a bike ride so we will be up. Many thanks!

tRicky:
I need running poles, not walking poles.

Also is it a good idea to go bike riding the day before a rogaine? You might wear yourself out.

You know last time I did a Rogaine with tRicky I ended up in the moon boot and I had to make do with a couple of sticks as walking poles for the 6.5 hrs back to the HH.

Note: I may have actually rogained with tRicky since then, but that would have been crazy, so I can't remember if I have.

We did last year's Dam Busters rogaine together too.

Anyway I haven't broken any other teammates, only you. Also MacTickTock, Steve M, Steve F, Mark D, Mark I, Colette, Andre, some guy I knew through my first workplace, my friend from high school, my friend from TAFE and Tash. You also broke me once.

LOST_Richard:
I have a few breakages too, but not as impressive as you.

Jeff (Legend) a couple of times, Des from Vancouver twice, (why do these people come back a second time?), Paul Myers, Nicole, maybe a few half broken

Do we know who else is going other than those on the AP event list?

tRicky:
I don't think there's anyone else going.

LOST_Richard:
That should make it easy as Juffy is no competition

I was never broken! I object!!
Oct 22, 2015 11:04 AM #
tRicky:
I may have broken Juffy once too.

Juffy:
I was wondering why I didn't make that list.
Oct 22, 2015 11:14 AM #
tRicky:
I'd forgotten just how many people I'd broken. I cannot keep track of everyone.

shanel:
Oh yeah, Dam Busters. I tripped and hurt my ribs in the first 10 minutes. I'd also got all my vaccinations for going to South Africa the day before, so my shoulders killed every time I had to write on the intention sheet.

LOST_Richard:
I think we need to define broken so tRicky knows when it happens. I need to know when I am pushing too hard

fletch:
We've also done a couple of rogaines where you didn't break me. And arguably, the one where you did, I had been broken for three months prior to the rogaine.

tRicky:
Still counts.
Oct 23, 2015 1:29 AM #
Tooms:
You didn't break me either time. But everyone knows how solid I am.
Oct 23, 2015 3:59 AM #
tRicky:
You're not in the list ;-) (yet)
Oct 23, 2015 11:42 AM #
Tooms:
When would you like to break me?
