Apparently you have missed the big news...
Last week when World Champion orienteer Sören Bobach from Denmark was training he experienced a bear encounter. Since the training camp he was there for was based out of Canmore and Calgary this must have been more or less in your back yard...
This story has been going around Facebook and Twitter and even made the Swedish Sport news last night on TV.

Ha, that's funny that it's making the news. I guess those things are not as hot of a story in the news here as it happens every now and then. I'm typically pretty good at reading DN every day, but this past week I missed much of my usual routines as I had a big work load. Too bad.

That's how Danish sounds all the time. They don't have bears in Denmark so I guess he did his best.
