Have you done this one before?
5:30 miles seem pretty quick to me, although I assume you can do one pretty quick, what is your mile time?
How long was the rest period? I am looking at this as a VO2 workout, pretty hard stuff for the start of a new year.
i got it from our national team manager, rests 30s between 1600 and 400 then 2 min between 400 and 1600. it was a tough one to do alone! i have a mixed programme so i hope next time this one comes round ive improved a bit :-)
(we have some physical testing in a couple of weeks so should be able to adjust paces accordingly after that)
Whoa! only a 30s rest? That is hard. I would say you could run a mile in about 4:35 to pull that off.
