We had ten points in the first ten minutes. That would have given us ~720 points all up and about 65th place. Luckily we didn't continue with that process of point collecting.

I have often wondered how you only get 190 points for 6 hours walking:

From the team holding the results table up, who was work colleague of mine:

"We had the whole family down to the 4 year old and we walked a really long way and it was hilly. We walked down to the river along the main road then up hill to Quarry road then back to the Hash. Seemed like we walked for ages although only got a few controls as they were in dense bush were the kids couldn't get through." .

Just shows that MrR was right in that some people aren't in it for the points! I'm worried now.

Kids are great in dense bush. They fit through smaller gaps.
