The back bean soup and black bean side with my spinach quesadilla were exactly the same -- and too spicy. When I had tried to ask the waiter to skip the black beans with the quesadilla, he thought I didn't want the soup. I finally gave up and got everything.
When one of my fellow diners couldn't eat her 2nd mushroom taco, I offered to take it; it was also too spicy. I ended up just eating the mushrooms themselves; I guess the heat source was the salsa in there with the mushrooms.
Food presentation was modern and atypical of Mexican restaurants.
Desert might have been good, but we skipped it. Too full...
Overall impression: meh...

I can't fault the waiter for not understanding Joisey. It's a whole different language than Kentuck.
Next time I'll have Ben or Steph translate for me.
