I'm feeling similarly melancholy, and similarly over-computered. For me, in addition to work guilt, it's the change in the weather. This week was really crappy in the Palouse. It felt like a big change.

Sorry to hear about your bite thing. How about going to Swedish primary care

Yeah, Kate also suggested that the season change could have something to do with it. Fall/winter is also a natural hibernation time.

Thanks for the clinic suggestion! I have Group Health insurance, so I would need to figure out where their hospitals/clinics are to use my insurance.

I would get my butt into gear to figure that out today, but the bite does seem to be getting better! The bruising has gone from black blue to yellow/brown, which is what usually happens with my bruises. There is a small scab on the bite location, but nothing that looks like an infection.

So I think it's going to be okay! Though I do get weirded out when I go to bed now... before I would go to bed under the sheets, and sometime in the morning put half of my body out of the sheets to cool down after getting warmed up all night. But now I am afraid of exposing myself. ha.

Not sure how the great Pacific NW weather has been, but I recall this was about the time I used to start running at lunch. Daylight, a bit warmer...all good. Helps to have good company or a pretty area to train in, too.

Yes, daylight is good! Fortunately, I have flexible work hours, and know some others with flexible hours too. So I should take advantage of that and ride or run with company in the daylight!
