I think 50K is your distance- your stomach seems to like it and your legs sure do.

That was a tough race! It really was a nice change to do a point-to-point race, even though it meant some road sections. It felt like a journey - especially since we didn't know that trail existed until we heard about the race.

Congrats, champion!

Modesty aside, you deserve the FKT. It may fall some day in less leaf-covered conditions, but is very respectable.

Thanks all! Really hope The Bad Thing is able to expand next year - they're definitely on to something with this format.

The old Bruce Trail Survival Run that became the ITT was a point to point. Started at Hwy 6 and ran to Kilbride. But in the early years there was complaints about point to point as being too time consuming and with time it changed Meh. Boston is point to point. Paris-Ancaster is... etc. etc. Lots of adventure races are. Times change.

Speaking of change. Sorry to hear only two of your races being hosted next year. Navigation races will always be hard to promote and are a lot harder to organize (and much more expensive) races to host. Hopefully those races are back in 2017. Not sure what my race hosting future comprises of either. This weekend's RTH will be my 15th. It is hard to find the volunteer time now. Time will tell.
