Good to be training with others even if the sessions are not ideal, that's the conclusion I always come to anyway. The motivation and sanity saver of training with a club out weighs the slightly random sessions at times and you can do the ideal length reps another day of the week. I did 15/15s last night - ouch!!
The Harriers have always done good track sessions, I used to go along when I was an aspiring young athlete.
If you don't fancy track sprints, Forres harriers do (tarmac) hill intervals at 6.30 tuesday night - something like 10*450m or 6*900m, fastest start at the bottom of the hill so you'll have plenty to chase :-)
I don't think it's always going to be so short so I'll stick with it for a bit. So nice to chat to people on the recovery rather than just watching that midge doesn't chase after deer!
Don't think I'll be driving to Inverness in wintry conditions though!
