Seriously - told to take a month off? Commiserations :(
Was it a real diagnosis that makes sense or do you just need to go and see a different doctor?
he's going to get a second opinion - AREN'T YOU BRAD ?! :-)
As doctors go, he really seemed to know his stuff - he did all of the knee mobilisation tests that I've ever had from a physio, pretty much told me the history of what I'd done to the knee before I told him, and nailed the symptoms. Discounted a Baker's Cyst (phew), and also seemed confident that there was no meniscal cartilage tear, which is what I was worried about. Second opinion? I wouldn't go to the physio I have been going to this year already. Chocolate sunshade. Another £80 to get an ultrasound diagnosis from Jane Dunbar? Sigh. Between physios, doctors and brain doctors, I need to extend the mortgage. I hear that beer is a good anti-inflammatory.
No I think thats red wine. Possibly Port at a push. Must have been that junior park run pushed you over the edge...
I think you're right Andy, on all counts. Trying to keep up with Jamie on the run was wot dunnit. Forced onto the bottle! At least when the bottle is empty I can use it to roll my calves :-)
