Is it lactate threshold or something similar?

It's nice to have some numbers to compare from year to year. Especially if you have someone that is an expert and able to give you advice on what sorts of training to focus on to improve said numbers :)

yes, well what it comes down to is that i'm in a mood after being a bit crap. luckily it's just about working on everything as before. so on we go :-)

We've failed as a team to do that last bit in recent years Ross. For someone like you Cat I'm sure that if you get the right feedback it WILL make a difference whatever happened on the day.

well i'm giving it another chance and going back in December for retesting! as orienteers i guess a lot of us find it easier to hide in the forest unless pushed to do otherwise, i certainly am not comfortable when being tested inside, really claustrophobic! but the weekend was useful for most people i think, as a team we must have a lot to gain from this and from making sure training is focused well.
