Sorry you were injured, but I guess you were lucky it wasn't worse. Those dry leaves are deceptively slippery and they do hide things...even on sidewalks as I found out today - though I didn't fall, fortunately.

Lip is a bit puffy. There's a small abrasion that probably actually looks to casual viewers like a cold sore --there's the "ewwww" factor-- so I haven't had questions yet. :-) Otherwise, even though I still have a sense of bruising on my face there's no real color. I'm so glad I had the glasses on as I might have impacted the ground harder without them.

We'll see tomorrow at Pilates if we get side glances.... :-)

Ow. That sounds scary. I chin planted in May and my chin looked like a big blackberry for a week. I got a lot of long looks - which were kind of fun to observe. Sorry to have missed you.
