at the Aireys Inlet event. I said I'm not from Vic and Blair implied that he's a wee bit busy being OA president. BTW, good win - the most I've ever managed in a 6hr is 42km but that was in nice pine forest and not as steep as Daylesford. Also, I can recommend the chocolate which VRA hands out :)
I got a mini Mars bar.
One of my XPD teammates said he doesn't do Vic rogaines for that very reason - he got hassled to volunteer at the first event he went to!
On terrain, the map stated 10m contours but they didn't seem that way. Some of the controls on single contour knolls and spurs barely registered as features.
I have some lovely certificates left over from last weekend's minigaine (I over-ordered) if you would like one of those.
Please make sure to present it to me at tomorrow's bike rogaine.
You going to win that too?
The World AR in Brasil looks pretty speccy - as you would expect.
Plan is to win today although legs have other ideas. Plus there are riders with fresh legs who didn't compete yesterday - Carolyn Jackson and Angus Robinson to name a couple.
