Did you see Randall's WTF t-shirt last weekend? It said Whiskey Tango Foxtrot...

TT, my mind thinks I'm fitter than I actually am. Was feeling decidedly middle-aged today but there are some speedy older ladies out there!

Good one!

And my Garmin started beeping at about 2am last night. I had to put it outside in a shoe.

I'm impressed that results are up already. Not so impressed that 140 women were ahead of me. If I'd been 10 min quicker, it would only have been 100 women!

Good effort - was it crowded?

Only at the summit. The carpark space is absolutely full of buses, which have to drive up there before the road is closed for the runners. The reason they could increase entries by 300 people this year was that they were able to source 6 more buses. For 3000 people, you need 60 buses! And the reason the walkers start first is that the buses can't begin coming down until the bulk of the competitors have reached the top.

Yep, saw a few of the fast guys who obviously didn't want to wait for the first bus.
