Congrats on your win. Only 8 mins behind 'Gus is a good run. The map looked interesting...

Thanks, I made a couple of stupid mistakes so I could have been a bit quicker but I'm happy enough. The map was definitely interesting.... I'm pretty sure they weren't 5m contours as the hills were pretty tiny, also the scale felt a bit dodge in areas too.

Rain and glasses doesn't work too well for Gus and he went to 8 before least he noticed. Some of the hills were incredibly small, such as 19-20 (20-21 on my course) In reality about one contour. I chose to go round it going out to 5 and ended in water up to my chest. Not all things were equal. The drain between 2 & 3 was jump-able, and yet the thinner blue line under the course line between 4 & 5 was not crossable at that point. (Well I did cross it but that's another adventure) BTW courses 1 to 5 had the same first 6 controls.

Going home for the weekend was a good idea so :P I was questioning the map even just compared to google earth. Fair play to everyone that finished :D

I went for a swim between 4-5 too, although I managed to only fall into to mid-thigh! I also found the difference between the white and light green very odd at times esp around your number 10 where the light green was def more runnable than the white (at least the bit I came through was). It also seems that 8 of the 11 courses had the same first 3 controls.

Have been discussing my 10 with Zoë and the veg mapping threw her off as well.
