Nice edit/update! Glad I could be there to facilitate the google search and earn such a yummy reward :D
While on the subject of Canadian sports...
Gina and I went to a "pub-style" trivia night at the church of our friends this weekend, and one of the categories was sports teams that have moved from one city to another. I knew all 3 three that involved Canadian teams. (We did miss one, however. I thought the Hartford Whalers went to Nashville. They went to Carolina instead.)
I met Emma a few years here in Ottawa when I helped set-up a curling match for Janet Napolitano and she was one of the guest coaches. She was lovely!
I can think of 5 that involved Canadian teams. If we're only talking hockey.
When in doubt, just say RoughRiders
To clarify, there were just 10 questions in the category, 3 of them involving Canada:
The other 7:
Buffalo Braves--> Clippers
Decatur Staleys--> Chicago Bears
Interesting, Seattle is the only city w/two teams on that list.
Nev, see if you can use your high-placed government contacts to get some face time so you can ask Emma if she's into ruggedly handsome and suave American gentlemen.
If she says yes, I'm screwed.
Well, the trivia night was in Seattle, so that's why there were two questions involving two Seattle teams!
I don't know man, have you seen the look of the rugged Canadian curlers lately?
Haha, this was a little crazy to stumble upon... Went to school with her.
Hey, this might get interesting...
Haha what??? That is wild.
The dream comes closer to reality.
She's probably dating some Norwegian with fancy pants.
Emma was just linked an article on her [curling term].com log about whether GPS should be allowed in orienteering.
Don't have her on Facebook, sorry...
