It is unfortunate that Edelman was injured, but hopefully he will be back for the extremely likely postseason. The Patriots have made the playoffs 12 of the past 14 seasons (excepting 2008 when Brady was injured and 2002), but that certainly is enabled by the ineptitude of the rest of the AFC East.

I remember that season of 2008 when Pats went 12-4 or something like that but still missed the playoffs because Dolphins won the tiebreaker with Pennington at QB. That said, Jets need a franchise QB to be able to compete with Pats. However, my fantasy SB would be G-men vs Pats again! Hey it is every 4th year thing, isn't?
