What did you get? I just got my pair of S-LAB SPEEDs and can't wait to give them a go.

After the 2nd or 3rd CP in the first box I was running on my own. Mick started to gain on me part way through the 2nd box and then I pushed a little stronger to open a gap when he had to grab another CP. Coming into 8 I was surprised to see you and a bunch of thoughts started bouncing around in my head...

"Is Harps over 45? maybe he has a 2 handicap too and did a more efficient route in the boxes. Well he is in great shape with the Ironman and training with Super and all. OK, I'm gaining on him in the forest so he must be slowing down. OK now we are on our way to #10 and he is opening up a big gap on me. No way I'll beat him in a sprint at the end so lets see if anybody is behind me"

Then you turned around and started running south again. oops. ;-)

Hope you can make the odd X-League this winter. ARX will be having weekend training once a month. They were up at Rocky Ridge last week. Great chatting with you and wow are your kids ever getting big.

Hey Hammer,

Great catching up with you albeit briefly. I heard you coming in hot into CP 9 I'm thinking who the heck is gaining ground on me so quickly that is fast and still behind me (I blow CP C in Box 1). It took a bit for me to realize I forgot about that second damn box.

As I found out at RtH, I'm ok on roads/trails but pretty slow off-trail/roads. Something I'm planning to work on this winter at more O-Cups!

Definitely hoping to make the X-League or help out in any way possible when I can.
