5K on the treadmill is not the same as 5K on the track. If you don't believe me, go out and do your 5K on the track and see how much slower your time is.

Oh, well, maybe they do. I don't know the terms of your deal but if it were to run a sub 17 5K,and I were them, I would argue that you haven't done it until you've done it on something besides a treadmill.
