WNL was in a lovely area with great forest and hardly any undergrowth and the Welsh League in Merthyr Mawr today was excellent.

That was the original plan - but I really ought to do the southern nights as the field can be so weak and pot luck as to how quickly you find the controls - that there's a could chance that I could win it one year - was only 3 mins down last year!

Might well seek a copy of the map from Merthyr Mawr and take a day off work to run around it - much easier to do than Winterfold given 2.5 hours closer!

Now that BOF have given farcical low ranking points I now agree I shouldn't have bothered going... Would have needed to have had a perfect run, and then knocked off a further 10% somewhere for it to come close to any of my current (low) scores - fourth event in four weeks which I have flagged as bollocks so again confirms my recent opinion that the BOF rankings are completely meaningless!
