I could even take some of that if only we had some actual snow...
is what we have on our drive way instead of yowsa.
That is certainly pretty...but not very good for skiing, for sure. That must be pretty disappointing for skiers. Surely there must be snow somewhere in Dalarna though, right?
Possibly some in the mountains but not much natural snow
good enough to make ski tracks. Many places have opened up their (minimal) ski tracks
with artificial snow (or saved from last year) though.
Common bubo - pansies? You gotta be kiddin' me. What kinda of "wild land" is Sweden if there's pansies at December's door.... Damned if I'll come to your mountains Oringen this summer, best-year-in-5-shot, or not:-).
Latitude 59 December pansies, global warming on steroids. At least show us lower than 48 "southerners" some snow drops to confuse things!
Actually there´s even a chance you will se more snow at O-ringen than I can see right now looking out my window.
The "global warming on steroids" sounds like the perfect description of what we´ve experienced so far this November. Not a single snow flake in sight yet but some cold days/nights - never in conjunction with precipitation though.
