fast course? you're quicker than me today!

Mind you the guy you held off was from ... "Black Pear Joggers". Not exactly high octane B&W elite, is it? ;)

It's definitely not a fast course! 70% grass, 30% gravelly path. Just 2 laps though, so very minimal overtaking only, and only between 4 and 5k.

You can only beat the ones that turn up!

Great time for Little Stoke!

To give more credit to Mark, I think Newent is the toughest parkrun course in the area - should expect a time there to be around 7% slower than at Little Stoke, so his time today would would be roughly equivalent to 18:00 at LS. 19:03 is a very good time!

Looking again at Little Stoke times - I feel a bit of sympathy for the guy that came second at 16:12

No wonder McQUade chose ashton court today!!! (he was *only* about 4th.....) (Jarlath was at the front - eventually.) (or not quite! - 2nd)

I'm going to start calling it ParkRace

should be parkRace - with a lower case "p" :-) unless you want to purposely disrespect their stylistic rules (that's my approach!)
