Only thing to remember is the climb/descent on wossname hill, just after the 2nd aid station - it was probably just a descent when you last did 6". Not sure what the grip on the Frees is like.

They won't be great for that bit but it is a pretty small part of the run really so I don't think it will matter too much if I have to take it very carefully.

I did it in 190's and was fine. Thought you'd be lighter on your feet than me!

Interesting discussion about X-Talons. If yours are the old amber ones, probably ok, otherwise think twice about doing 6 inch in them. (But in my view you should be thinking twice about doing 6 inch at all :-)
