Do you have a place with trails near you?

In this case, though, skiing was 8 hrs a day downhill instructor training. But we do have trails nearby for skinny skis ;)
Coming to Badger on Sunday, Jan Erik?

Nope, is there a race going on then? I'll be speed skating in Minnesota for the American Cup, but maybe I could incorporate that into the drive home.

Would you happen to have a link for the orienteering site so I can check out the details :)

Is Vince the only family member who is not some kind of instructor at Trollhaugen? ;-)

Jan Erik, the google group has maybe a bit more!topic/badger-ori...

We have very good, German friends, and the daughter, Emma Fink, says she knows you. Small world ;)

Maybe we'll see you. Good luck in the American Cup.

Jan Erik, from an e-mail from Kevin:
Cat’s Meow, Northern Kettle Morraine SF
Cat’s Meow is some of the best terrain I have ever seen. Similar to Ottawa Trails, it has numerous depressions. However, this area has few trails and open areas. This makes it a very challenging area. The forest is sometimes very open, but also has many areas which aren’t white woods. Prickly brambles are rare. Currently, this area is a work in progress. It will only get bigger and better in the next few years. Don’t miss any opportunities to orienteer here if you are a serious competitor. I expect the final area mapped to be over 10 square K.

Jan Erik, do you and whoever is coming with you to MN need a place to stay? You're more than welcome to stay with us. And Vince is not going with us to Badger land

Yeah I thought that was really cool when Emma told me she knew you guys! I wasn't able to come, as we left right from skating and didn't make ti home till 7 or 8. Thank you for the offer, I'm sorry I didn't get back to you earlier! If the maps are as good as the sound then we'll have to have a couple of training runs on them this spring!

I was amazed how nice all of the woods looked just as we drove by everything, I'm excited to orienteer here soon!
