Interesting. So for me, the question is: would the competitive aspect of the RACE offset the greater difficulty of the course. My projected per-mile time for that distance on the Crum/Smedley course would be 12:11's. Your PR for one loop is 8:43/mi. (11/14) versus race pace of 8:44's. And so forth. At least I'd be third for sure :).

Yes, I think you could top 3:32:39 the 82-year-old at the end of the list.

I think there would be some dueling in there, for sure, particularly if you knew who your competition was. You are highly RACE motivated. That said, you sure don't like those uphills. :)

If you ever want to run the course for training/evaluation purposes, just let me know and I'll go with you ... or I can print it out on a combined O map for you.
