Wyatt: Now that there are, like, 40 groups, we're sitting right in the middle of the list that's sorted by average training hours per active AP member, and it's hard to find US O-Team on the groups list. Can we move up a little closer to the NZ group? Go train & post it!

Wyatt: Speaking of posting your training, if Hillary posted hers again that would probably help a bunch!

Boojums: Hm, I'm sitting at about 3min above the average which isn't very encouraging. Where's Hillary? More importantly, what's up with the slackers who have less than 5 hours per week? ;-)

Joe: my "mileage" comes in spurts on the weekends. check back monday.

Hillary: I am up here at Craftsbury VT and don't have much time to go on the computer because there is so much to do so my postings may come and go...

ebone: My knee injury (from Spring--ugh) might be flaring up, so next training week could be much smaller or could be bigger, depending on how it goes.

What are you up to in Craftsbury, Hilly?

#  Posted 2007-09-08 06:24:59
Wyatt: That's better. Mostly thanks to Hillary (good to see youre still training like a maniac, even if you can't post like a maniac :) Is that some rowing camp thing that you're augmenting with the daily 2 hour run? BTW we're up to just over 7 hours average (a few seconds), and both myself & Christina are now dragging the average down (although not as much as some others.) Sounds like Joe will bring us up this weekend, and I think I will marginally. Good luck Eric on your knee. I'm sure you'd prefer to be training more than thinking about that.

Hillary: There is a sculling camp going on here that I am working at. I help them with thier boats by bringing them up and down to the water for them and helping them get on the dock. My first week here has been alot of fun and the people are really great. The coaches are really cool and I am slowly learning to scull but my form is far from any good yet. Still working on it...

#  Posted 2007-09-09 08:07:12
Joe: how different are sculling and rowing?

#  Posted 2007-09-09 18:45:23
Hillary: in sculling I am in a single and i have to row with 2 oars. In the other rowing I did in college was sweep rowing where I either rowed with 4 or 8 people and I only rowed with one oar on the port side. It is hard to go from rowing one oar to two...

Samantha: Yeah, I am really dragging down our average... I'll work on it!

#  Posted 2007-09-10 02:46:51
Joe: top four spots held by women! keep it up ladies. two months to US champs.

#  Posted 2007-09-11 04:24:42
Joe: what's wrong with frisbee golf as a workout?

#  Posted 2007-09-11 07:42:17
Boojums: Top 5 spots are female, at the moment.

Sandra's got a point, though it's not like most people on the list are even close to overdoing it, myself included...

BorisGr: Wyatt's out-training me by a minute at the moment...I better go for a run!

eddie: How did I get in this group? Can the group owner just add anyone it wants? Can I add myself to any group I feel like? Maybe I should join the Canberra Cockatoos. They have such a cool name. It sounds funny and kinda dirty all at the same time.
