I have some neoprene booties that work really well with wool socks. when the chips are down, I have some disposable warmers for toes that I got at home depot. they have a sticky side that I but on the toes of my shoes, then slip the booties on over. for the hands, i have a pair of specialized 2 in 1 gloves. first glove is full finger made of some airtight material that I don't know what it is. then the lined shell fits over those that is split finger. when it is gruesome out, I have some "bar mitts". they fit over the hoods and are neoprene. those are so warm, I don't have to wear any gloves. the only problem I found with those is that you are locked in to one position and it is kind of tricky getting in and out. these are from my hardcore riding days.
