Got your map to run the course as they were recycled - thanks.
Unfortunately your running speed did not rub off on me via the map...
Fairly straight forward routes, I think only leg 14 did have a few real options, the others may have differed only in micro-route choices (+the mistakes).

Curious if you have any tips on how to run fast(er) over rough ground like across the marsh to No.2 from the fence - areas like those slow me down much more than people like you!

No worries, glad you got a run.

I'm really no expert on running through terrain, and there's a lot of people out there a lot better than me, but I've steadily got better which I can only put down to practice. I think that the more running in that stuff you do, the better you get at realising which bits of ground are firmer, and therefore where you should put your feet so as to keep up momentum.

That's what I suspected. Thanks though! It's time to find some nearby spots for terrain interval training next year I think...
