Indeed far from a total collapse (I know what one of those looks - and feels - like!) and all in all a pretty good effort off that training I reckon.

Noted that this was the 'first proper' marathon and that splits are 'for future reference' - lots of learning too I'm sure.

Presume also that you won't be settling for a PB that is slower than those of DC and Ray W - I am looking forward to seeing how you do when you prepare fully for one!

It wasn't apparent to me from training that you were off to do a marathon, so off the back of some decent training as opposed to focussed, nae bad
