Sometime when it suits your mood, I'd be interested in how cadence relates to your heart rate after a good warm up. For example a cadence increase of about 20 over whatever your natural cadence is at anything from 75% to 110% of FTP.
I'll ramp up 10-15bpm over about 2 minutes then level off pushing my cadence up by 20 at 85-100% FTP after a good half hour warm up to settle in.
I'll have to think on that one. Might even need to pay attention to it during my next spin in order to give some feedback.

I had to watch pretty closely to realize what was happening...luckily the trainer is so boring I have to find things to distract myself from it, which included watching the stream of 4 charts during the video.
I'm not sure if you guys know that you are both engineers - although it may be obvious from reading each other's AP logs and comments. :)
