So, what constitutes a short movie? And what movie did you see?

Uss. its short because its 8 or 8:30 or whatever. Then we just watch the rest another time. This time it was an old TV mystery series that was intrinsically short. Seen any good movies lately?

Fran and friends loved Spotlight - I skipped it.
Fran loved Brooklyn. Not meaty enough for me but a 'good story'. Chic flick?
We saw Canadian movie Remember at SLIFF featuring Plummer & Martin Landau -- exceptional! (though reviews are mixed). Due in US in Jan.

Spotlight - i think I'll skip it too. Brooklyn - Joan would definitely like this...I'd be ok w it too...pretty much your reaction. 'Remember' sounds interesting, though we usually stay away from 'edgy' stuff, including almost everything w R rating, I guess we're too soft. Thanks for the tips.

R rating -- The quantity of violence with Glock is not excessive but the 2-3 incidents are quite explicit. Also, probably some language.
